Bookends House

Board formed concrete bookend the glass gathering and entry space. A soapstone wood stove heats the thermal mass of the concrete walls providing long lasting, even heat throughout the house. Two story windows at either end of the central access provide views to the forest through the entire house. Weathering steel cladding on the end pods will ensure a maintenance and fire resistant home for years to come.
